Are these mods allowed in Hardcore?

They don't add items, extra lives or cheats. They improve performance, show info like coordinates, and make building and inventory management smoother.

What mod loader do I need?

Fabric. Install the Fabric loader for your Minecraft version, then put the mods and the libraries listed at the bottom into your mods folder.

What are the best mods for FPS?

Sodium, Lithium, FerriteCore and Entity Culling give the biggest boost. They're all in the Performance section.
