FAQ

How does Minecraft block colour matching work?

Each block is compared with your chosen colour using its approximate average texture colour and a perceptual colour distance.

Are the colours exact?

No. Textures contain multiple colours and can change with lighting, biome tinting and resource packs. Results are a useful starting point.

Can I enter a HEX colour?

Yes. Enter a six-digit HEX code such as #4CAF50 or use the colour picker.

Does this work on mobile?

Yes. The colour picker, search and block results work on phones and desktop browsers.
