FAQ

What is a block palette in Minecraft?

A small set of blocks that look good together, usually 4 to 8. Builders pick one before starting so walls, roofs and details all match.

How are the palettes chosen?

Each block's average colour is worked out from its real texture. The generator then picks blocks that sit close together, or step from light to dark, depending on the style.

Can I share a palette?

Yes. Copy share link gives a link that opens the exact same six blocks. Download image saves a picture of the palette.

Which version are the textures from?

Java Edition 1.21.4 textures, including pale oak, resin and the newer copper and tuff blocks.
