How to Use a Bundle

One stack's worth of mixed items in a single slot.

A bundle surrounded by string, leather, red dye and a chest on spruce planks
Quick answer
  • Craft a Bundle from 1 String and 1 Leather.
  • It holds one stack's worth of mixed items in a single inventory slot.
  • Bundles can go in shulker boxes, but shulker boxes can't go in bundles.

Bundles clean up your inventory by squeezing lots of small item types into one slot.

Crafting

Put 1 string and 1 leather in a crafting grid. Then craft the bundle with any dye to colour it. There are 16 colours.

How much it holds

A bundle holds the same space as one stack of 64. Items take up space based on how they stack:

Item stacks toEach item usesFits in a bundle
641/6464
161/1616

You can mix them, like 32 cobblestone and 8 ender pearls.

Using it

  • Put items in: pick up the bundle and click items, or pick up items and click the bundle.
  • Take items out: right-click the bundle. Scroll over it to choose which item comes out.
SortingUse a different coloured bundle for each job: one for food, one for building blocks, one for redstone.
