The dragon egg is the ultimate trophy. There's only one per world, and it doesn't want to be picked up.

The torch method
The egg sits on bedrock, which you can't break. This works once the egg is resting on a normal block, like end stone.
- From the side, dig out the block two below the egg.
- Place a torch in that gap.
- Break the block directly under the egg.
- The egg falls onto the torch, breaks into an item and drops.
The piston method
Put a piston next to the egg and power it. The egg gets pushed and pops off as an item.
Easiest wayPistons are the simplest. Bring one, a lever and a block to stand it on.
Only one
Respawning the dragon with end crystals lets you fight it again, but no new egg appears. Look after it.
VoidThe egg can teleport off the island. Don't hit it near the edge.
