Elder guardians are the mini bosses of ocean monuments. Beat all three and the monument is yours to mine.

Where they are
- One in the top room.
- One in each of the two wings.
Mining Fatigue
When you get within about 50 blocks, they curse you with Mining Fatigue. Milk clears it, but they reapply it about every minute until all three are dead.

Fighting them
- Bring Respiration or water breathing potions.
- Bring a sword with Sharpness. Their laser hits hard.
- Attack when their spikes are in, just like normal guardians.
Light the wayPlace sea lanterns or torches on blocks as you go so you can find your way back out.
Drops
Each one drops a wet sponge, plus prismarine and fish. Dry the sponge in a furnace or by placing it in the Nether.
