Water breathing potions

Brew a Pufferfish into an awkward potion for water breathing. Add redstone to make it last longer.

Air pocket tricks

  • On Java, placing a door, fence gate or banner underwater makes a small air pocket.
  • On Bedrock, break a block and quickly place a sign, button or trapdoor before water fills the gap.
  • A Magma block makes a bubble column that refills your air.

For bases

A conduit with a full prismarine frame gives you breathing, night vision and faster mining in a huge area. It's the best long-term option.

Mine faster tooAdd Aqua Affinity to your helmet so you can mine at normal speed underwater.
