Husk Guide

Desert zombies that keep coming in the daytime.

Rotten flesh surrounded by an iron ingot, a carrot, a potato and sand on sandstone
Quick answer
  • Husks are zombies that spawn in deserts.
  • They don't burn in sunlight, so they keep chasing you in the day.
  • Their hits give you Hunger.

Husks look like sandy zombies. They're just as weak, but daylight won't save you from them.

Where they spawn

Husks replace most zombies in deserts. They often show up around desert villages and temples, sometimes in groups.

Fighting them

  • 10 hearts of health, same as a zombie.
  • Each hit gives Hunger, which drains your food bar faster.
  • Eat after a fight so your health can come back.
DaytimeDon't count on the sun in deserts. Light up the area around your base so they can't spawn at night either.

Turning into zombies

A husk that stays underwater turns into a normal zombie. If that zombie stays underwater, it then turns into a drowned.
