How the trap works
- Lightning strikes and leaves a trap horse.
- You get within 10 blocks.
- Lightning strikes again and 4 skeletons on skeleton horses appear.
Surviving it
- The skeletons have enchanted bows and iron helmets.
- Use a shield and fight around corners.
- Their helmets stop them burning when the sun comes out.

The horses
- Skeleton horses from the trap are already tame.
- Put a saddle on to ride and steer.
