Slime Block Guide

Bounce off it, or use it to move whole builds.

A slime block surrounded by a slimeball, a piston, an observer and a honey block on slime blocks
Quick answer
  • Craft a Slime block from 9 slimeballs.
  • Landing on one bounces you and cancels fall damage.
  • Pistons move the blocks stuck to it, up to 12.

Slime blocks are bouncy and sticky. They're fun to jump on and they power some of the best redstone builds.
