- Give villagers 3 bread, or 12 carrots, potatoes or beetroots each.
- There must be a free bed for the baby, with 2 empty blocks above it.
- Babies grow up in 20 minutes.
More villagers means more trades. Breeding them is easy once you know the two things they need: food and a spare bed.
Step 1: Feed them
A villager is "willing" to breed once it holds enough food. Throw food at them and they pick it up.
| Food | Needed per villager |

Let farmers do itFarmer villagers share spare food with other villagers. Give them a crop farm and breeding runs on its own.
Step 2: Add beds
Every new baby needs a bed nobody has claimed yet. Place the beds near the villagers and make sure they can walk to them.
- Place one more bed than you have villagers.
- Leave 2 empty blocks above each bed. A slab or trapdoor on top can make it invalid.
- On Java, the bed must be within 48 blocks of the parents.
Angry particles? If two villagers show angry clouds, they wanted to breed but couldn't find a free bed. Add another one.
